Dear Participants,
I am looking forward to seeing you at the Induction training (Welcome to Bang & Olufsen) from Tuesday 24 September to Thursday 26 September 2024 (2½ Days). Before you start your journey, I would like to give you some practical information for your visit to Denmark.

Upon arrival at Billund Airport, you will be met by a driver (taxi or bus) who will be carrying a Bang & Olufsen sign. The journey from Billund to Struer takes approximately 70 minutes. You have a reservation in your name at the Grand Hotel, Struer.
For those of you who arrive early enough, dinner is provided in the restaurant of the Grand Hotel (the kitchen closes at 20:45). You can choose from à la carte dishes worth 300 DKK (approx. 40€); if you consume more, please pay the difference directly at the restaurant.
If you land after 20:00, expect the restaurant to be closed when you arrive in Struer. In this case, we have arranged for a sandwich to be ready for you at reception.
Please note that the Grand Hotel reception closes between 22:00 – 23:00. You can enter the hotel by using the keypad to the right of the door (code 8745). You will then find the room key with your name on it at reception.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the Grand Hotel.
Tuesday
January 28
On the Tuesday morning a member of the training team will be waiting for you at the hotel reception.
Please be ready to leave the hotel at 08:00 and always be on time to avoid delays to the group. You do not need to bring anything with you; notepads and pens will be provided.
Wednesday
January 29
Once again, we will be ready to leave the hotel at 08:00 sharp.
Thursday
January 30
Please check out of the hotel, leaving yourself enough time to do so.
We leave the hotel at 08:30; bring your luggage with you to store at Bang & Olufsen HQ for the day.
The course ends on Thursday around 12:00. We will organise airport transfers for you.
Clothing
& other information
Dress code for the course is business casual. In the evenings you are welcome to wear casual clothes.
The weather in Struer is very changeable. Please check the forecast as you may wish to bring warm clothes.
Denmark uses kroner and not euros. However, you can pay everywhere by card, which means you do not necessarily need to change money.
All meals and drinks during the course are included in the training. If you would like additional drinks after lunch or dinner, please pay for them yourself.

Arrival information for the Monday will apply to the Sunday arrival as well. Thomas Benjaminsen will be your trainer and you can view said information in his group tab.
